Peddlers arrested in Digiana, injections recovered | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24: Continuing its crackdown against drug menace under Operation Sanjeevani, Police Jammu arrested two peddlers and recovered injections. A joint team of PP Digiana and District Special Branch, Jammu, during naka checking Digiana Ashram apprehended two pedestrians who were trying to avoid the police party in suspicious circumstances. They were identified as Tilak Raj, son of Chain Singh resident of Nanak Nagar and Manmohan Singh son of Bishan Singh resident of Roop Nagar Digiana. On checking, 435 (four hundred and thirty-five) injections were recovered from their possession. In this regard, FIR No. 135/2019 under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Gandhinagar and investigation taken up.
