| IHRC demands action against Naib-tehsildar | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: State president of International Human Rights and Crime Organization (IHRC) has demanded action against a Tehsildar, who was allegedly involved in various scandals.
Addressing media persons, state president Thakur Hoshiar Singh alleged that a Niab Tehsildar posted in Nagrota had been working as Girdawar and Patwari before his posting and he was well aware of the land status. "When he was posted as Patwari, many complaints were registered against him as he was fiddling with land records", he said.
Despite complaint by people and an enquiry was conducted by Revenue department, he was given clean chit due to links, he alleged.
They requested the Governor administration to initiate an enquiry against the officer. |
