SHO Vijaypur found absent, placed under suspension over 'negligence of duty' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Police today issued suspension order of Station House Officer (SHO) Vijaypur Inspector Rakesh Bamba for being absent during duty hours and negligence of duty. A departmental inquiry has also been initiated against him. As per Police order vide no 245 of 2019, dated 24-05-2019, DIG Jammu to Kathua Range Sujit Kumar paid a surprise visit to check the alertness and security aspects of Police Station Vijaypur in the early in morning between 6:00 to 6:30, it was found that sentry was not adhering the rules, the daily diary on the CCTN portal was found pending and last maintained on the previous day at 2030 hours, i.e 23 May 2019 and a video was made to record the pendency of the Daily Dairy by undersigned. It also stated the Inspector Rakesh Bamba SHO Vijaypur found absent and there was no entry regarding his movement out of his area if responsibility in the Daily Diary upto 2030 hours on 23-05-2019. When undersigned enquired about the other movement order/wireless message regarding the movement of SHO PS Vijaypur out of his area of responsibility, MHC Police Station Vijaypur was unable to produce anything about his movement. On this grave negligence on the part of security lapse if Police Station Vijaypur and carelessness /indiscipline on the part of the duty of SHO, the services of SHO Rakesh Bamba is kept under suspension with immediate effect. He will deposit the uniform article in equipment store DPL Samba, further, he is entitled to draw subsistence allowances as admissible under rule. He also asked to remain present in DPL Samba during his suspension period. |
