| Police holds public meeting at Police Station Khour | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 26: District Police Jammu continued its outreach to public by way of public meetings and held a public meeting at Police Station Khour.
The public meeting was conducted by SHO Police Station Khour, Inspector Punjab Singh. The meeting was attended by approx. 40-45 prominent persons including representatives of Pvt. Schools, school van operators and parents of school kids of the area. Issues such as, traffic regulation, security and safety of school kids and drug abuse & its prevention were discussed. Main objective of the meeting was the security & safety of school going kids. SHO specifically briefed the participants about safety tips.
The people were also assured that their grievances would be redressed in a time bound manner which were discussed during meeting. The participants were further informed about the dedicated Mobile phone No. 9086100100 and were asked to share any drug related or any other information on this number for legal action. |
