| Missing child reunited with parents | | |

JAMMU, May 26: Police claimed to have traced a missing child and handed over to family after completing legal formalities.
As per details, on May 22, 2019, one person namely Jagga Ram resident of Bachyal had reported at PS Kanachak that his 13 year old son named, Rohit Kumar, who was developmentally challenged, was missing from home since May 20, 2019. Based on this, FIR no 68/2019 under section 363 RPC had been registered at PS Kanachak and investigation was started.
A message was immediately flashed across the district regarding the missing child. Today an information was received from IC PP Jourian that a child matching the description was found roaming around in that area. A team from PS Kanachak was immediately deputed and it was discovered that it was indeed the missing child. The child was handed over to his parents after completing all legal formalities. |
