Doda, May 26: Boy recieves intense electric shock from wires hangs on tress, burn injuries on sunday at Marmat area.
Power Devolpment Department tryst with the sentiments of general masses. Wires are tied up to trees and life is left is on the mercy of Almighty in rural areas. The incident happen at Kungai area of Tehsil Marmat in Doda district when a boy Rishi Kumar S/o Beetu Ram, residant of Roat Marmat recieved an electric shock when he came in touch with HT power line leading to various burn injuries at around 8: 30am, After recieving the intense shock, boy fell unconscious, immediately shifted to District Hospital Doda for treatment. Reports said the condition of boy is normal now.
It is pertinent to mentioned here that, Since, last three months two deaths have been reported after receiving severe shocks. These high tension lines are just few metres upwards, posing a threat to the life. Marmat always remains ever neglected by these authorities.
The working staff in PDD Department never feel it necessary to round up and witness the whole bizzare. Due to corruption & black marketing on its peak, these supplying gadgets , wires, appliances, poles , handreach materials all are sold. when someone enquires about the matter PDD officials never dare to pick up the calls. It's an esteemed appeal of public of Tehsil Marmat to District Devolpment Commissioner Doda please intervene in the matter serious note of the matter and stern action against errying officials. |
