Doda, May 26 : Handball Meet of girls and boys of JK II cluster begun at JNV Arnora Ghat,Doda. The school hosted the participating schools such as JNV Samba,JNV Reasi and JNV Udhampur other than the host school. The meet consists of matches in U-14,U-17 and U-19 categories being played during two days. The inaugural ceremony of the meet was attended by the chief guest, honourable Deputy Commissioner of Doda,Dr. Doifer Sagar Dattatray ,IAS. Further, the meet was declared open by him. Also, the ceremony hosted Ashok Kotwal, DYSO,Doda. During the event, the Principal of JNV Doda welcomed the dignitaries and gathering. Finally, the vote of thanks was registered by Mr. Ramkumar,Senior Most Teacher,JNV Doda.
After the ceremony, the match between U-17 girls of JNV Reasi and JNV Samba and it was won by JNV Samba. The closing ceremony of the meet was held on 26May 2019 and the chief guest of the ceremony was Col. Abhishek Radar,CO(10RR). It was also attended by Capt. Tanzim Hassan and Sub. Rajendra Kumar from 10RR.
Finally, the overall champions,JNV Doda,was crowned with the coveted champions trophy by the chief guest. Further, the best performers of the tournament will be selected for the Regional level meet which would be held in the month of August. |
