| Patient dies for want of docs, ambulance at PHC Sawjian | | |

Mandi, June 10: A man died for want for ambulance in Primary Health Center at Sawjian here today. According to the sources, deceased was identified as Abdul Rashid son of Abdul Aziz residents of village Sawjian whose relatives today held a strong protest demonstration against Block Medical Officer and Health Department at Mandi. Mushtaq Ahmed, Shabir Ahmed and many other relatives of deceased today raised slogans against BMO for his negligence. They said, "the previous doctor is on leave whereas newly appointed doctor has joined at SDH Mandi who has not been deployed to PHC Sawjian ." They accusingly said, they are neglected by BMO since his adjustment at SDH Mandi. Survivors of the deceased have demanded inquiry into the matter and a FIR against BMO at earliest. Later SHO Mandi Ravinder Singh Rskhwai reached the spot and assured action. "Hospital ko Aag Laga do" which prove that, his intents towards the department are not good. They have appealed to governor to take action into the matter. |
