Katra, June 10: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board organized 20 days long Summer Coaching Camp at its Sports Complex at Katra in the disciplines of Athletics, Archery, Basketball, Football, Volleyball and Shooting, for the sub-junior and junior level are undergoing intensive trainings under the guidance of coaches and trainers of the Sports Complex. In all, 122 probables are participating in the summer coaching camp. The objective behind organising such Camps is to provide an opportunity to the young children to avail state-of-the-art facilities created by the Shrine Board to prepare them for future competitions, make use of their vacations for constructive purpose, making them to learn enjoy the games of their choice as also developing a sense of camaraderie, sportsmanship and competitiveness. During the course of activities, campers can be seen, learning various skills, training methods, rolling on grass turf, shouting and sharing joys when they take part in the recreative and lead up games which are part of the curriculum. |
