| J&K Sports Bocce Ball players win 3 medals in nationals | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: J&K Sports Bocce Ball team has won three medals in 3rd Bocce Ball National Championship 2019 held at Agra, UP. The championship was organized by Bocce Ball Association of India. In this event more than 250 Students of different states participated while 6 students from the state represented Team J&K. Ex-Dy CM Kavinder Gupta congratulated J&K Sports Bocce Ball Association for achieving best possible results in the national championship. Gupta advised the students to join sports for self-fitness and also to bring laurels to the State. He also congratulated Sunny Nanda, chief coach, J&K Sports Bocce Ball Association and National Sports Coach under whose supervision and guidance the little buds of J&K participated in the national level championship. The winner participants are under-19 single boy Amitansh Raina student of Xavier Convent School secured first place, Pranay Gupta and Gurmanjeet Singh (Open Birds Mind Sports Club) bagged 2nd place in under-19 boys double, Kartavya Gupta (S D Tara Puri High School) and Gurvansh Choudhary (Dogra Hr Sec School ) achieved 4th place in under-17 boys while Amitansh Raina was selected for Asian Bocce Ball Championship to be held at Malaysia. |
