| Drug awareness programme held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 24: An anti-drug awareness programme was conducted by SDPO Domana, Dy.SP, Yashbir Singh Slatha and Incharge Police Post Chinore at Sharda Peeth Tuition Centre, Durga Nagar under the jurisdiction of PP Chinore
The programme was participated by approx. 50 students, mostly teenagers and member of civil society of the area. They were made aware about drug menace and its harmful effects in the life. Participants were told about the Care for your Buddy programme (an initiative of Jammu Police against drug) and were encouraged to protect themselves and their friends against drug addiction. SDPO Domana advised the students to channelize their energy in sports activities and future career building instead of indulging in drug abuse. Helpline number 9086100100 was shared with the participants and were urged to share any drug related information on this on this number for legal action. |
