JAMMU, June 24: Vice Chairman (VC) Jammu Development Authority (JDA) called a joint meeting of all stakeholders of Transport Nagar, Narwal including Team Motor Parts Dealers Association, Team J&K Bank, Team RTO Jammu to the response of regular follow up and reminder of MPDA which has been submitted to the Advisor to Governor regarding the issues of development of Transport Nagar. On the occasion, Rajinder P Kakkar President MPDA Jammu along with SS Bhau, Sanjay Dogra, general Secretary MPDA, Sham Parshad Gupta Treasurer MPDA, Er Raj Pal Verma, Tejinder Singh, Satish Kumar and representatives of all seven Yards of Transport Nagar Jammu presented the list of demands to VC JDA, Vikas Sharma along with reminder which has been submitted to the Advisor. As usual the demands of black topping of all roads and lanes of all seven yards while repair of all drains and nallah passing through Transport Nagar were raised. Cleanliness drive, anti-encroachment drive, street lights with solar system, requirement of five more Sulabh Shauchlayas, free dispensary for mechanics and other demands were also highlighted in the meeting. VC JDA issued on the spot instructions to all the departments like PDD, PHE, UEED, PWD, R&B as well as JMC and sought their cooperation for beautification and development of Transport Nagar. |
