Early Times Report JAMMU, June 24: A five-day long Basic Civil Defence Training camp was started by Civil Defence Jammu here today at Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Sunjwan. The camp was organized under the supervision of DySP Shashi Thakur, Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu. In the training programme, Civil Defence instructors imparted the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Firefighting, Emergency rescue methods along with demonstration. While speaking on the occasion, Shashi Thakur, Dy Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden and Thakur Ranjit Singh, Deputy Chief Warden delivered valuable lectures on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. The main aim of training camp is to facilitate the students and staff members of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjwan Jammu to deal with emergency situation like earthquake, road accident Fire Fighting etc. At least 150 students of higher and staff members attended the training programme. Manish Tuli, Principal and Rakesh Kumar Dhar Dubey, Vice Principal of the Institution were also present on the occasion. |
