| Qayoom elected as distt president JEWA | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 2: Abdul Qayoom was elected for the post of district Jammu president of Judicial Employees Welfare Association (JEWA) while Pawan Kumar and Shilpi Anand were elected unopposed as vice president and secretary respectively for district Jammu.
Election for the District body of JEWA was conducted here today at District Court Complex, Janipur.
The election was held under the chairmanship of Mangat Ram Parihar, State President, JEWA and under the supervision of Chief Election Commissioner Sudershan Singh, Provincial President JEWA, Jammu.
All the judicial employees of District Court Complex, Jammu participated in the election which was conducted in a fair atmosphere.
Neetu Sharma, Mohd Shaft Gutt and Abdul Kayyum contested for the post of district president whwerein Abdul Kayyum secured 62 votes and elected for the post while his opponents Mohd Shafi Gutt and Neetu Sharma could get only 27 and 7 votes respectively. Pawan Kumar was elected unopposed vice president while Shilpi Anand was elected unopposed secretary for district Jammu. |
