Jammu, July 7: Under ambit of Civic Action Programme of J&K Police, an anti-drug awareness programme was organized by SHO Police Station Nagrota, Deepak Pathania at Nagrota Main. The team of Socio-Welfare International Society headed Pardeep Pandita displayed the process of addiction and its adverse impact on human lives. The Nukad Natak was attended by a large number people including youth/students, shop keepers, Sarpanch, Panches and prominent citizens of the area. President, Divine Touch Society (NGO) was also present there. At the end of programme, SHO P/S Nagrota briefed the participants about the drug menace and its harmful effects. The participants were told about the Care for your Buddy programme (an initiative of District Police Jammu). The SHO asked the participant to share the initiative of Jammu Police against drugs with their friends/relatives and sought their cooperation to make Nagrota drug free. The participants were also told about the mobile number 9086100100 and were asked to share any drug related information on this on this number for legal action. |
