MV International School conducts summer training for teachers | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 11: MV International School conducted five-day long summer training for teachers. Teacher training is a continuous process that promotes teacher's training skills, master new knowledge, develop new proficiency, which in turn helps to improve students learning. These sessions revolved around active discussions between the teachers and the resource persons. Teachers were introduced to various innovative methods for managing classrooms. On the first day, Kunal Sikri, International Trainer and Speaker of repute, discussed 'Conflict Management' and development of 'Emotional Intelligence' in our workplace. It was followed on the 2nd day by, Upma Mahajan Principal of Sumitra Devi Arya Sr Sec School, Dinanagar who emphasized on building 'Effective Communication' between teachers and students in order to improve the learning experience and create a positive inspiring environment. Sumanjeet Kaur - a mathematician, trainer addressed the Primary School Teachers on the 'Importance of Life Skills' on the 2nd day. She shared some personal experiences and tips on ways to cope with stress and anxiety and deal situations with a positive mindset. Ira Sehgal, certified Quest Trainer from New Delhi conducted a highly interactive session with the teachers on 'Multiple Intelligence' for fourth day. The training session was concluded on the fifth day with 'Intercultural Learning Workshop' under American Field Services (AFS) which was conducted by Sarita Badhwar, National Qualifying Trainer and Consultant AFS India. |
