Bovine smuggling bids foiled in Rajouri, 2 bovine smugglers arrested, 02 vehicles seized | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 11: Jammu and Kashmir police rescued twenty bovines while foiling two bovine smuggling bids in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district. Reports said that team of police headed by SHO Thanamandi during naka checking intercepted a mini truck JK11C- 3972 being driven by Mohammad Iqbal son of Nazir Hussain resident of Lah Thanamandi. During checking , ten bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicle after which vehicle was seized and bovines rescued while driver of the vehicle has also been arrested. During another naka checking, a tata mobile JK11B- 3316 driven by Mustafa Ahmed son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Rajdhani Thanamandi was intercepted and checked in which ten bovine animals were found loaded. The vehicle was seized on the spot and driver has been arrested while ten bovines have been rescued. Two separate FIRs have been registered in police station Thanamandi under relevant sections of law. |
