Srinagar, July 14: Security officer of a National Conference leader was wounded in what is suspected to be a militant attack at Anantnag's Hillar, sources said on Sunday.
A personal security officer of National Conference Leader Syed Tawqeer was wounded when some unknown gunmen fired at him. Not much else is known about the incident.
Meanwhile, a explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district wounded two people on Sunday, police said.
"The blast occurred in Adigam village in which two people were injured. They were evacuated to a hospital for treatment," a police spokesman said.
Police are still investigating the source of the explosion. |
