Rain water enters shops in Mendhar market | | | M S Nazki Early Times Report
MENDHAR, July 15: The administration and the Rural Development Department have failed to divert the rain water of the Mendhar market in spite of repeated requests and hue and cry by the people, Beopar Mandal and students. Prominent people of the town said that there was heavy rain this time resulting into water logging which caused great damage to the shopkeepers dealing in Karyana, Medical, Cosmetics, Stationery and General Stores. "There is strong resentment among the business community", they added. Naib Tehsildar Mendhar Mohd Afzal visited the market and took stock of the loss suffered by the shopkeepers and other residents. Social Worker Tariq Khan Inqalibi appealed to the District Administration that water logging in the market has become the constant problem and a proper survey should be conducted to divert the rain water. |
