Jammu, July 14: One month Summer camp organized by Society of Sports Bandurakh was completed on Sunday, during which around 35 junior players participated in the Summer Camp, the camp was organized under the supervision of Chief Coach Harvinder Pal Singh, during the camp they learned hockey tricks from state level and national level players. During the camp a hockey competition was held, between Singh club and Bandhurk Hockey Club, which was won by the Singh club, by 2 goals. The chief guest on the occasion for final match was Satish Sharma, former chairman of Jammu municipal Corporation who gave away the Trophy to winning team. On the occasion, Satish Sharma said that the need of the moment is to break children away from mobile phones and raise their attention and focus to sports. Satish Sharma said on the demand of the society's to build a stadium in bandurakh, that the stadium work started during his government tenure and was stopped by the BJP PDP government and to start the work, we will meet Governor soon. Also present in the field were dignitaries of the area including Panch Ravinder Singh Raju, former Nayab Sarpanch Satnam Singh Kaka, CSE Inspector Suresh Kumar, Jaswant Singh, Santokh Singh and others. |
