Kathua, Aug 13: International Delhi Public School Kathua celebrated Independence Day with great zeal and patriotism. Professor Ram Murthy was the Chief Guest of the occasion the celebration started with the flag hosting and National Anthem followed by March Past Munchkins of IDPS participated in Fancy dress competition from pre-primary classes. The students were beautifully dressed portraying their favorite freedom fighters. They also exhibited their feelings about freedom fighters and their sacrifices for the freedom. An inter house group song competition was also organized in the school. The student of all the four houses Spartans, Samurai, Trojans and Knight shewed their patriotism through beautiful patriotic songs. The samurai, knights, Trojans house won the 1st prize, 2nd prize and 3rd prize respectively for the group song competition. |
