Jammu, Aug 13: The Investiture ceremony of Delhi Public School Udhampur for the academic session 2019-2020 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony at the school multipurpose hall. The event was presided over by the Pro Vice Chairman Dr. J.C Gupta. The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. We believe that the child centric approach will frame a responsible citizen. bnThe ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It was commenced with the lighting of the lamp followed by Shlokas, which signifies removal of darkness. Incessant mounting of the flames symbolizes the virtue and holiness. The elected Leaders' were conferred with badges and sashes by Honorable Chief Guest Vivek Gupta. The students' council took the pledge to hold the school motto "Service before self "in high esteem. The Pro Vice Chairman of the school Dr. J.C.Gupta congratulated the batch bearers and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. |
