Srinagar, Aug 14: Ministry of Home Affairs (GoI) today announced President's Police Medal on the eve of 72nd Independence Day-2019. Seventy Six personnel from Jammu and Kashmir Police are among the 946 awardees which include one President's Police Medal for Gallantry (PPMG), 60 Police Medals for Gallantry (PMG), and 15 Police Medals for Meritorious Service.
Police Medal for Meritorious Services have been awarded to SSP Rakesh Kumar Dhar, SSP Tejinder Singh, CPO Aejaz Ahmad, DySP Devinder Singh, Inspr. Zahid Hussain Mir, Inspr. Vishal Shoor, Inspr. Mohd Ashraf Bhat, SI Mohd Ashraf Padder, SI Mohinder Pal Ramdasi, ASI Tej Krishan Pandith, ASI Mohd Sadiq, HC Abdul Hamid Mir, HC Tej Krishan, Sgct. Ravinder Singh and Sgct. Susheel Kumar.
Meanwhile, Inspector Syed Afaq Ahmad of J&K Police has been awarded "Union Home Minister Medal for Excellence in Investigation" which was announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs (GoI). |
