India wants peace with Pakistan but Islamabad provokes India
8/15/2019 10:07:00 PM
While Pakistan has spent days and money on using its Independence in solidarity of people of Kashmir the India Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat has cleared that there was no special troops' movement on the border and there was nothing like Pakistan is preparing for war against India. This has gladdened hearts of people on either side of the LoC or the IB. The Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat has downplayed any movement on either side of the Line of Control (LoC) and said every country does "precautionary" military movement, and it was nothing to be "concerned across the LoC". He has stated that there was nothing to worry about any military preparations on either side of the LoC. His remarks come at a time when India and Pakistan are sparring on the August 5 decision to remove Article 370 which granted special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
On being asked about reports of military movement by Pakistan along the LoC, General Rawat said: "Everybody will take precaution. Any country will do that, don't get too concerned about it." The General added: "If the adversary wants to activate the LoC, the choice is his". But India has upgraded security grid on the border with the purpose of facing a hostile neighbour. And the way Pakistan has flushed and spoken loud against revocation of Articles 370 and 35-A indicates how Pakistan is concerned about internal matter of India. Gen. Rawat wants peace with Pakistan but Islamabad shouts against India which is a case of clear provocation. In Pakistan celebrates Independence day as a soplidairty day with people of Kashmir it a serious provocation and that too when India was celebrating its Independence Day.
If Trump has said there is no room for mediating on Kashmir it means that he also treats the issue as a bilateral problem which could be resolved through talks between India and Pakistan. But India has placed a rider on the resumption of talks has asked Pakistan to stop export of terror to India especially to Jammu and Kashmir. And India does not want terror and talks to go together. But Pakistan seems determined to grab Kashmir And India has to be ready to receive gun salute from Pakistan and Pakistan has upgraded security brid on the border with occasional problem of violation of ceasefire simply to push groups of militants into Kashmir for enlarging violence.
