| Jammu, Aug 21: Birla Open Minds International School organized Career Guidance and Counselling Session on 21st of August in the school campus. This proved helpful for the students to identify options, explore alternatives and succeed in society. The Principal Sanchita Mukherjee when spoken informed that a career guidance and counselling program prepares the students for the changing workplace of the 21st century by broadening the knowledge ,skills and abilities ,improving their decision making skills ,increasing self-esteem and motivation. Hence, maximizing the career opportunities and promoting effective job placements. The speaker for the station was Rahul Dahiya and the topics for the seminar were Career Guidance, Design thinking. To understand the cognitive capacity and emotional quotient of the students a psychometric test was conducted to guide the students towards the right choice of career and subject to follow. |
