Jammu, Aug 23: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology conducted a session on students' excellence and learning techniques by Art of Living. The session was taken by Rohit Ranjan who is a state youth coordinator graduated from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Ajay Kapoor who is a graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi. The speakers motivated the students that not to spend their time in reacting to unfavourable situations as life is fascinating with some ups and downs. In the next session Dr. Sapna Gupta (MBBS, MD, DGO, FICOG),Senior Gynaecologist & Pharmacologist, Consultant GMC, Jammu spoke about the topic Drug Abuse. She said that according to the statistics 80 percent of the youth within the age group of 18-35 is involved in the drug abuse. The session was followed by Plantation drive in which all the budding engineers planted different saplings in the campus of YCET. YCET believes that such activities play an important role in student's life as it takes them closer to Mother Nature and to identify their responsibilities towards conserving the natural resources on the planet earth. |
