| SSP holds PCPG meeting | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Aug 30: SSP Samba, Shakti K. Pathak conducted a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Tapyal, Ghagwal.
The thrust of the meet was to develop a sense among the general public that the Police is very much concerned to readdress the genuine issues of the public. The meeting was attended by Sarpanches, Naib Sarpanches, Panches, prominent persons and youth of the Ghagwal town.
During the course of meeting, SSP Samba patiently heard the problems/demands highlighted by the participants and assured them that their genuine problems would be redressed. SSP Samba in his address to the meeting appealed to the people to come forward and share information about drug peddling or consumption in the area and assist the Police in its War against Drugs.
He further assured that the identity of the informer will be kept secret. At the last, the chairing officer thanked the people for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting. The People of the area also appreciated the working of District Police Samba. Dy.SP Hqrs Samba and SHO P/S Ghagwal were also present at the meeting. |
