| Academic Arrangement Lecturers demand revocation of order 472 of HE | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 30: Appealing the Governor and Advisor to revoke order 472-HE of 2019 dated 23-08-2019, the J&K Academic Arrangement Lecturers/Teaching Assistant Association said that the order is discriminatory and restrains Academic Arrangement teachers from performing duties continuously
The association members while addressing the media said that they are working as Lectures/T.A and now we have been designated as Need Based Teachers like the daily wagers of other Departments.
They said that the order needs to be revoked so that their services and jobs are secure for the time being adding that the intensions behind this order was to adjust the candidates who have taken status quo in Kashmir Division and thereby creating difficulties for others. The members said that the Department of Higher Education is hatching a conspiracy for disengaging all of them from the jobs but this is gross discrimination with approximately 2500 Academic Arrangement teachers working across the state. |
