JAMMU, Aug 30: Ch. Rashid Azam Inqlabi Special Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, retired on superannuation today after rendering 25 years service in Government of Jammu and Kashmir. He started his carrier in Ministry of Law, Government of India.
Secretary, Higher Education Department,Talat Parvez Rohella acknowledged his contribution made in the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services and particularly in Higher and School Education Department. A warm send-off was organised by the department of Higher Education. His remarkable contribution in the sector of Education, particularly, in far flung areas of the State, shall always be remembered by the generations to come.
He had served in Jammu and Kashmir in various departments as Under Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department, Law Department, SDM Mahore, SDM Billawar, Secretary Advisory Board for development of Gujjar and Bakarwal, Administrative Officer Forest Department, Special Secretary in School Education Department and as Director in School Education Department, Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Director FCS&CA Department, and Special Secretary ARI & Trainings Department. |
