Jammu, Sept 5: 9 Member Indian wushu team was today flagged off by the Presidentr. Bhupender Singh bajwa and the General secretary Suhel Ahmed for the Star League cup 2019, Shanghai Cooperation Organization Wushu championship at China from 4th to 8th September 2019.The team is being sanctioned by the Sports Authority of India at Cost to government. In the last edition of the championship Indian team won 1 silver and 5 Bronze medals. The championship is a building up competition for the 15th world Wushu championship scheduled to be held at Shanghai (China) from 17th to 24th October. The National Coaching camp is in progress at SAI Bhopal for the preparation of the Indian team for the championship. The team is headed by Kuldeep Handoo (National Chief Coach of India) Rajesh Kumar Tailor (Coach) Sunil, Uchit Sharma, Vikrant, Ravi, Mukesh, Suraj and Mahipal Singh. The office bearers of wushu Association of J&K S Owais, IPS HK Lohia, IPS Yogesh Sawhney, Vijay saraf, Ranjeet Kalra, Deepak Handa, Sunil Sharma and Sohit Sharma baded best of luck to the team India for the Championship. |
