| DIC organises debate on Teachers' Day | | | RAMBAN, Sept 5: District Information Centre (DIC) Ramban in collaboration with New Convent Institute (NCI) today organized a debate competition to mark Teachers' day - which also coincides with Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary.
Students of local schools participated in the debate on the topic "Role of teacher in society" at NCI. The students presented their views and expressed gratitude to the teachers.
Shoaib was adjudged overall best while Aksa Tabasum and Shafqat clinched 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively. Principal of the Institute, Mudassar Ahmed thanked the information department for providing the students a platform to express their views. |
