| Sri Guru Gobind Singh Hr. Sec School celebrates Teachers day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 5: A grand function was organised on the occasion of teachers day at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Hr. Sec school kunjawni.
Prof Harbans singh chairman Guru Nanak college of education was the chief guest on .the occasion .students prepared a colourful programme for their Gurus.
They appreciated their teachers in songs and skits.They made beautiful cards for their mentors. Prof Harbans singh delivered an impressive speech in which he remembered Dr. Saraverpalli Radhakrishanan a renowned educationatist thinker and philosopher.
He said teacher's are national builders .Our nation needs people like Dr.saraverpalli Radha krishanan and Dr Abdul kalam .He said a good teacher means a good worker who does his work for others.
In the end he congratulated all the staff members and distributed prizes among all teachers.
Some teacher's got special prizes for their hundred percent result in stateboard exams. Vote of thanks was presented by the Princpal Gurtaj Singh .
At the end of the function lunch was hoisted by chairman for all. |
