Jammu, Sept 6: Gangyal police arrested one person with country made pistol and live round.
According to sources, on Thursday, a police party from Police Station Gangyal, during patrolling at Gangyal Garden, apprehended a pedestrian who attempted to evade the police party in a suspicious manner.
On search, one country made pistol along with one live round was recovered from his possession. The person was identified as Inderveer Singh resident of Raipur Satwari, Jammu. In connection, a case FIR No. 96/2019 U/S 3/25 Arms Act has been registered and investigation initiated.
