| Hardcore criminal booked under PSA | | |
Kathua, Sept 6: Border Police Kathua arrested a hardcore criminal under public safety act (SPA) and sent his Central Jail Jammu.
According to sources, during its stringent action against absconders, Sub-division Border Police Kathua team under the supervision of Dy.SP Ravinder Singh SDPO Border after strenuous efforts arrested a hardcore criminal.
"Farman Ali son of Roshan Din resident of Ande Chack Rajbagh Kathua evading his arrest since 2017", sources said, adding that the accused was booked under Public Safety Act by the order of District Magistrate Kathua for which PSA warrant was issued.
"His detention would surely instil sense of security to the general public. People of the area widely appreciated the stern action of Police against him", they added.
