Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 9: Kendriya Vidyalaya GC, CRPF, Bantalab hosted three days Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp, w.e.f, Sept 07 to 09, 2019, in which 15 schools, 132 guides, 15 escorts, 1 LOC, 2 examiners and 1 observer participated. It was inaugurated by S.P. Singh, Deputy Inspector General, CRPF and Chairman, VMC, K.V. Bantalab. After according the formal welcome by the venue Principal, Suraj Prasad, it was followed by lightening of lamp, garlanding of Baden Powell's and Maa Saraswati's portrait, cultural bonanza and presentation of scarves. The chief guest addressed the students and briefed them about the importance of scouts and guides. The programme ended with vote of thanks by Pammi Pandita. The following days of the camp included written and practical tests, exercise, inspection and finally the Grand camp fire in which the chief guest was the venue Principal, Suraj Prasad. The camp concluded with an all faith prayer, flag break, valedictory ceremony, lowering of flag and National Anthem. |
