| Shortage of Staff: Students block highway to protest | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 9: Scores of students their parents as well as villagers from Ladha area of district Udhampur blocked road National Highway and held protest demonstration against alleged callous attitude of Education Department as well as Chief Education officer Udhampur.
The students and others held protest against shortage of teachers in High School Thani Dhar in Ladha area of district Udhampur . Protestors alleged that against sanctioned strength only two or three teachers have been posted in the school for imparting education from Nursery to 10th Class and attended school shift wise at the cost of their future.
While talking, Sarpanch Ladha Kuldeep Manhas said that that their school was being meted step motherly treatment by the chief education officer Udhampur as well as District administration little caring about the future of children's. He alleged that from last six years they were demanding for proper teaching staff in said school but their repeated plea fallen into the deaf ears.
He also alleged that even 10th class student of said school not able to write their names in English than how is the future of the students its clearly seen that their future are in bleak. He demanded early depute proper and punctual staff in High school Thani Dhar in Ladha. |
