| "Chairman ISRO sets example of hardwork for today's youth" : S.S. Sodhi | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 9: In a meeting held today with the members of J&K Intellectual Civil Society Chairman. S.S. Sodhi appreciated the concerted efforts put in by the Team ISRO, especially Dr. K. Sivan, Chairman ISRO for Mission Chadarayaan-2. It is noteworthy that Vikram lander has recently been traced by the scientists and the objective of Chadarayaan-2 would continue to contribute towards the development of Lunar Science in the world.
Sodhi said that life led by Dr. K. Sivan, his struggle with poverty and hardships, despite which several contributive goals were achieved by the latter, is very inspiring for the youth of today who should take example of his hardwork and perseverance that have led ISRO to a new level of repute across the world.
Sodhi also remarked that the youth of India should take example of PM Modi for his laudable role during the launch mission of Chadarayaan-2, by not only staying close with the ISRO team but by also supporting the Chairman Dr. K. Sivan during and after the most crucial moments of the launch .
Quoting from the life of Dr. K Sivan, Sodhi said that he had spent his childhood days without a shoe or sandal. He continued wearing vesti (dhoti) till college.
Sodhi exhorted youth to lean from the lives of these two brilliant scientists and Hon'ble Prime Minister of India to walk on their footsteps for achieving their goals. He said that barriers can never stop us for achieving our aims. |
