| 2 bootleggers arrested with 80 bottles liquors | | |

Kathua, Sept 9: Acting stringently against liquor smuggling, Police Station Kathua seized 80 bottles of country made liquor and arrested two bootleggers in two separate Police actions. Acting on a tipoff, Police team of Police Station Kathua led by SI Ved Parkash apprehended one person namely Sidhant Sharma resident of Shiva Nagar ward no.16 Kathua at Shaheedi Chowk Kathua and seized 40 bottles of country made liquor in his illegal possession.
In an another decisive action, Police team of Police Station Kathua led by ASI Shashi Paul apprehended another bootlegger namely Sashi Paul resident of village Uttri Kathua, and seized 40 bottles of country made liquor in his illegal possession. On the basis of both recoveries separate cases under relevant sections have been registered.
