KATHUA, Sept 10: Urging the district administration to initiate repair of a nallah along the road linking their locality, the residents of Upper Shiva Nagar, Ward No 16 said that pathetic condition of the deep drain is damaging the road to dangerous proportions which could ultimately lead to a mishap. The residents said that the dirty water of the nallah regularly spills on road as it has developed cracks on its embankments due to which the road has developed pot holes. The commuters often face hardships while moving on the pot-holed road adding that it may also cause an accident as sometimes it is difficult to judge the water filled potholes while driving. Kewal Krishan Gupta, OP Bhagat, Ravi Kant Sharma, Kuldeep Sharma, Ashwani Kumar and other residents of Upper Shiva Nagar have appealed the concerned authorities to maintain the road to avert any mishap. |
