Various organizations celebrate 125th Birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh

Jammu, Sept 23: Various social organizations celebrated 125th Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh with great fervor and enthusiasm. Floral tributes were paid to Maharaja Hari Singh an extremely Dynamic, Visionary, Progressive, Social reformer and a great patriot, who can be undoubtedly claimed as the saviour of J&K, as his timely signing of the instrument of accession integrated state of Jammu & Kashmir with India, thus foiling the evil designs of Pakistan of grabbing the J&K state. His famous quote is still etched in the minds of people "Justice Is My Religion". Mahraja Hari Singh ji Kingdom had included POK, Gilgit, Baltistan and also part of Tibet ( China) The gallant soldiers of 4 JAK RIF (Fateh Shivji) defeated the Chinese in the battle of Mantalai under the leader ship of Legendary leadership of General Zoravar Singh.
Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) and All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF) celebrated the 125th Janmotsav of the last Dogra ruler Maharaja Hari Singh Ji at DSS Bhawan at Dogra Hall Jammu today. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak along with all other members of the DSS and AJCSF paid floral tributes to the reverenced Maharaja. Number of people from all walks of life had gathered to remember the great deeds of the Maharaja known for his secular credentials, broader outlook and social transformation of the whole state of J&K. Addressing the gathering, the Former Minister & President DSS, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak reiterated long, pending demand for declaring 23rd September as a state holiday keeping in view the popular sentiments and over whelming public aspirations of Jammu region.
Management and staff of Maharaja Hari Singh Social & Educational Foundation Jammu and Rajput Charitable Trust J&K, Jammu paid rich tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji on his birth anniversary on 23.09.2019 where many VIP's, dignitaries, prominent citizen and peoples from all walks of life were present. The programe began with garlanding of statue of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji by S.S. Sodhi, Director Delhi Public Schools J&K followed by M.S. Jamwal, Secretary Rajput Charitable Trust, J&K Jammu, C.L. Malhotra, Secretary Maharaja Hari Singh Social and Education Foundation Jammu, R.K. Verma , Principal Delhi Public School Nagbani (Jammu west).
