Jammu, Oct 21: A composite mixture of folk, religious and contemporary songs by Ananyaa and Ananata Gaur mesmerized the audience today at Abhina Thaeter in the ongoing "Rangleela Ntya Utsav-2019', a national theatre festival being held here. Organised by Laksya-The Aim and co-powered by Nutan Prayas Manch, in today's evening entitled as 'An Odyssey at Dusk' the female duo sang various songs of renowned singers like Mullicka Pukhraaj, Begum Akhtar, Fareeda Khanum and Surinder kour .
The audience was treated with famous hits like 'Pal Pal Baee Jaana', Haye O Mere Daadya Rabba, Aye Mohabbat, Dasht-e-Tanhai Mein and other songs.
Demands for various songs kept in pouring from the audience which was reciprocated by the singers whose melodious voice created a mystical aura throughout.
The duo were accompanied Kartikeya Vahisht on flute, Shahnawaz Khan on sarangi and Neeraj Kumar on tabla. |
