| Army defuses live mortar shells in Poonch | | |

Jammu, Oct 22: The Army on Tuesday defused three live mortar shells fired by Pakistan troops along Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that major tragedy was averted with timely defusal of the mortar shells by the experts in Karmara village of Poonch.
"The shells were fired from across the border by the Pakistan," official said adding that Pakistan has resorted to heavy unprovoked shelling along the LoC for the past one month especially after the Abrogation of Article 370 on August 5. |
