DLSA organises Lok Adalat, 144 cases settled | | | Early Times Report POONCH, Nov 17: A Lok Adalat organized today in the District Court in which Judicial Officers, Bar Members, litigants and general public participated. Chairman DLSA Madan Lal (Principal District & Sessions Judge) highlighted the significance and need of organizing Lok Adalats for larger interest of the people. At district headquarter, two benches were constituted. The first bench was presided over by Chairman DLSA (Pr. Distt &Sessions Judge) Poonch and assisted by Secretary DLSA, Javed Rana Poonch while the second bench was presided over by CJM (Chairman TLSC Haveli Poonch), Som Lal. A total of 156 cases were taken up in today's Lok Adalat including civil, criminal and other cases, of these, 144 cases were settled by all the benches by way of Mediation, Conciliation and compromise. In 32 Criminal cases, 1 civil case was also decided and a total amount realized was Rs.39700. |
