Early Times Report Vijaypur, Nov 20: State president of Jammu-Kashmir Panther Party (JKNPP)'s youth wing, Yashpal Kundal today claimed that due to unseasonal rains, thousands of acres of paddy crop of farmers have been damaged due to which the farmer of Jammu is upset. Kundal said that on one hand the Prime Minister says that the income of farmers will be doubled by 2022, but the government has already reduced the price of farmers' crops by doing a lot of work. Former minister said that earlier the price of farmers paddy was 4500 rupees quantal, but now it has been reduced to 2500 rupees quintal, earlier 11-21 price was 3500 rupees quantal, now it has been reduced to 2200 rupees quintal, which is now now reduced to 1500 rupees. He demanded compensation to the farmers. |
