| Power theft continues in SDH Mendhar | | Despite complaints by authority, PDD unmoved | | Rajesh Tandon

Mendhar, Nov 19: It might be sound strange but it is true that electricity power theft cases are being reported from Sub District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar but despite number of complaints by the hospital authority, Power Development Department has been sleeping in deep slumber.
Sources told Early Times that the power theft is continues from the hospital but authority concern is unable to curb the menace. Although Block Medical Officer (BMO) Mendhar Dr Parvez Khan admitted the cases of power theft have been received and he said that he lodged several complaints with the PDD but no action has been taken from them till date.
Sources said that main objective of providing regular power supply to hospital is being mis-utilized as the hospital cater most patients of border victim due to cross border firing by the Pakistan but the power theft is defeating its objective. The Hospital administration requested the Chief Engineer PDD to look into matter. |
