SSP Traffic Rural holds darbar of cops | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: In order to check the welfare of the traffic jawans of Traffic Police Rural Jammu, Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu conducted a darbar of the jawans deployed in Samba-Kathua area on the premises of D.C complex Samba. The the main objective of darbar was to listen to the grievances of the traffic officials and to maintain proper accountability and discipline. The darbar was attended by the concerned supervisory officer/DTIs and others, which includes, Behari Lal, DySP Traffic Samba-Kathua, 15 NGOs and 60 Traffic Jawans, who are presently performing their traffic regulation, as well as enforcement duties in Samba-Kathua areas. During darbar proceeding, the jawans have projected their genuine demands regarding their deployment in native towns etc. and they have been assured that their genuine grievances shall be redressed accordingly. The participants stated that they are receiving their salaries well in time and have no welfare-related grievance. They further stated that the officials deployed in the offices are giving quick response regarding sanction of their leaves and always listen to their problems promptly. Mohan Lal Kaith, SSP Traffic Rural Jammu while addressing the Traffic Jawans stressed upon that the indiscipline shall not be tolerated at any cost, as the J&K Police are the face index of the general public and we all should have to deal politely with general masses while performing the assigned duties. If any traffic jawan found in creating indiscipline shall be dealt sternly. |
