Rich Harvest School participates in Fit India Week | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30: Rich Harvest School Bari Brahmana participated in Fit India Week from 20th November till 30th November. According to press release, Fit India Movement was started by the honourable Prime Minister Narinder Modi in August 2019. Students took part in many activities designed to keep their bodies and minds fit and fine. Many of the Physical activities performed during the week included Skipping, Wushu, Hands free exercise, Yoga, Dance and Aerobics. These activities have become an invaluable part of the school curriculum. Students displayed their artistic skills in poster making and slogan writing with the theme being "Say no to Drugs and Smoking" to live longer. The icing on the cake was children taking part in Tamil Nadu's indigenous games Kallangla and Adu Pulli Attam. Miss Sandeep Kour conducted a lively symposium on Junk Food Vs Nutritious Food. The director of the school Ruchi Charak, an active participant, advised the children to inculcate good eating habits and lead a healthy life. |
