ACB produced charge-sheet in DA cases CAPD storekeeper | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30: Anti-Corruption Bureau presented charge sheet in Court in a disproportionate assets case against accused public servant namely Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din, the then Storekeeper, CA&PD. The ACB presented charge sheet in case FIR No.35/2014 P/S VOJ (now ACB-Jammu) U/S 5(1) (e) r/w 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, Samvat, 2006 against accused public servant namely Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din resident of village Gulabgarh, Tehsil Mahore District Reasi A/P House No. 19 Sec-2 Pamposh colony Channi Rama Jammu behind KC Hyudai showroom, then storekeeper CA&PD for the accumulation of huge moveable and immovable assets worth lacs of rupees during his posting as Storekeeper Chassana as well as other places of posting. The assets include two houses, one at Gulabgarh and the other at Jammu, two shops at Gulabgarh, several kanals of land at different locations in Gulabgarh and Jammu besides two vehicles, which are disproportionate to his known source of income. Further, an investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Bureau proved the allegations of disproportionate assets against the said accused. After completing the investigation of the case, sanction for the launching of prosecution of the accused was also obtained from the competent authority and Anti-Corruption Bureau J&K today produced charge sheet against the above mentioned accused person before the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Court Jammu. |
