Cell Phone Etiquettes

Mobile mistakes could wreck your career. No doubt, cell phones are very useful and necessary but we can irritate our fellow man too. Now a day, places like theatres, trains, public restrooms, private classes and meetings are no longer safe from the possibility of getting an untimely call. On a serious note, poor cell phone etiquette can ruin your career. Points to ponder upon while using cell phones:
Speaking loudly in public place: Many people talk in louder volume when they are in public place. We can you hear you, even everybody can hear you. Microphones are very sensitive. We need not to be too loud.
Taking a call in a meeting: If you are attending a meeting, whether you are hosting that or you are invited to attend one, please put your phones on silent as answering them will be a worse breach of etiquette in meeting.
Using ringtones: Be careful while using your ringtones. Choose a decent one not annoying or else avoid to put it on ringing.
Using phones in restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls: Few restaurants and grocery stores have made a note saying - We will surely help you once you are done with your phone. Well, Well, Well.. It's not at all surprising. I have seen people doing actually things like talking on phone and ignoring the employees whose assistance they need. It's better to avoid taking calls while talking to employees who are helping you in buying stuff. If it's very important, find a quiet place to attend it.
Too much information: Discussing private things in public places or in offices can be unwise. There is no benefit of letting others know that you are in love, you just got done with your lab tests etc., etc. Be very careful while talking on phone in someone's presence. You never know, once you are away, they can misuse that information or make fun out of it.
Are you driving yourself crazy? : Do you use cell phones while driving? Let me tell you: Approximately, 2100 people met with an accident while driving. Our one mistake can destroy our life, may be no life. It's better to avoid picking calls and texting while driving. We can either stop the car to pick the call or just pick it up later. Our life is more important than a call.
Using cell phones with etiquettes will cost you nothing but can be considered as one of the best grooming part of you.
