Work in District & Sessions Court Kathua remains suspended | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 7: The work remain suspended for the 28th consecutive working day starting from 1st November 2019 in the District & Session Court Kathua including all other subordinate courts of the entire District Kathua and complete shutdown observed by District Bar Association Kathua led by its President Advocate Ajat Shatru Sharma in support of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu on the issue transfer of Registration powers under Registration Act 1908. To intensify their agitation the members of the District Bar Association Kathua continued their token hunger strike on 37th Day in the premises of District & Sessions Court Kathua, on the similar pattern of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu. The members also in one voice agitated against the wrong executive decision of J&K UT Govt. for transferring the registration powers to the already overburdened revenue officers. The Advocates who sit on hunger strike on the Saturday includes Adv. Harinder Singh alias Naveen Choudhary, Adv. Devinder Singh, Adv. Pardeep Singh, Adv. Vikas Kant Gupta and Adv. Sumreshwar Singh. |
